Vehicle Awards

The 2013 Honda CR-V has received a few accolades worth mentioning, namely from the premier car value website, Kelley Blue Book. KBB.com is a resource many people use to learn more about cars and their values. This year, they named the 2013 CR-V the Best Resale Value and the Best Family Car.

For families, safety is a very important factor when choosing a car. You can rest assured about the CR-V’s safety because the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety has named the vehicle a Top Safety pick. It also earned an overall five-star score from the US government. Safety features include active front head restraints, antilock disc brakes, stability and traction control, and side curtain airbags.

Vehicle Features

In the video, our team walks you through some of the important key standard features on the 2013 Honda CR-V. Every model comes standard with a rearview camera to help you safely back in and out of parking spots. As soon as you put the car into reverse, a live feed will show up in your dashboard with guiding lines. Honda’s rearview camera also gives you three different camera options: normal, wide, and a top down view.

Another features found on the CR-V is the Econ button. When you push the green econ button, it can help you to save 5 to 7% more fuel per gallon.

Space for the Whole Family

To prove how much space there is in the backseat, Don McCarty, who is over six feet tall and weighs 250 pounds, is comfortable able to fit back there. He also demonstrates how easy it is to put the seats down to provide for extra space. The simple one-pull design allows you to store more than 70 cubic feet of cargo.

For extra storage, there’s a large middle console that can fit up to a medium-sized women’s purse. On the sides of the console there is space for a water bottle or other belongings that will help to free up your cup holders.
